About the Comedians:
Ken Koskella -
Once every 3 or 4 years a truly funny, unique comedian comes along. Ken
Koskella is that person. When he was in high school he did many plays, skits
and monologues. He took a 35-year break from the performing arts to become a
very successful business executive. After retirement, he took some acting classes,
did some voice-over work and decided he wanted to do stand-up. He has spent the
last few years honing his act by writing and performing at open mics, showcases
and comedy clubs.
Ken was the Winner of the San Diego Comedy Competition! Winner of the the
Avalon Comedy Comedy Competition! A finalist in the Rooster T Feathers comedy
competition (4th out of 98), a finalist in the Rose and Crown Comedy Competition
(2nd out of 58 ) and semi-finalist in the San Francisco International
Comedy Competition. He was featured on the TV show “Stand-up
It's Thursday Night." KRON TV San Francisco. Ken was also host/mc/producer
of The Sixteen Mile House Comedy Showcase.
Ken is now doing comedy shows for benefits and corporations as well as writing
a “One man show.” He is unique to the comedy scene. I saw him perform
and laughed so hard my sides hurt. You really have to see this guy.”
Michael Lemcke - A young and rising comedian with endless opportunities. He
has been performing stand-up comedy since 1997. He has performed at many clubs
and cafes in the San Francisco Bay Area, including: Rooster T. Feathers,
The Rose and Crown, The Blue Rock Shoot, The Kings Head and Big Lil's... Mike
was a finalist in the Las Vegas Laugh Across America National contest. Mike also
has written for the Palo Alto Verde Magazine.
Xavier Marin - Recently turned professional, and
has been performing at various comedy clubs throughout the United States. A Hispanic
comedian that talks about the life of a heavier people. He may be a big man,
but he doesn't allow that to stop him.
