What a freaking
great event, venue, crowd, energy, etc last night at the 111 Minna Gallery! Here’s
what I wrote on the meetup board for an Innovation group, one of three channels
how I heard of this event: “ How
soon can we do this again? Absolutely great blend of professional disciplines
and backgrounds, personable personalities, and positive energy in a super world-class
venue with art that reminded me of the Warhol exhibit, and jazz group whose next
gig is at the original Yoshi's. This sets a great standard for what San Francisco
cosmopolitan yet neighborhood-feel networking should be. Having a NY SOHO vibe
to it only helps. Kudos to organizers

Cesar - I didn't get a chance to say good-bye and to thank you again for a kick-ass
time!! You mentioned that it was a small turnout (~150) last night, but I gotta
tell you: the QUALITY of the turnout was wonderful. I met
lots of great people, had eye-opening conversations, exchanged ideas,
tried outstanding wine and tequila! I didn't get a chance to talk to
everyone only because I was involved in such great conversations and
the next thing I knew we were closing the place down. (Again, the
QUALITY!)
You hit the nail on the head when you talked about other mixers. The
one I went to right before yours made me feel like I wasted my time.
The people there only wanted to talk to the people they already knew,
were probably only there for the free food and out of obligation, and
with a "Let's get this over with" type of attitude.
When I left the party last night, there was this sense of, "Oh no!
It's over? It's time to go? We just got here!" I can go on and on about
how great the mixer was for me! I will
definitely attend more mixers that you're putting together, and I will
certainly spread the word. Bravo for all that you do to bring people
together and to show them a fantastic time!

was very animated and interested in what we were doing. Doreen did 24 chair massages!
Wow, she was on a roll! I have pretty much lost my voice from talking so much.
