Restaurant Design
John Castle has designed some of the best and most well-known restaurants throughout the Bay Area:
• The Stinking Rose Café, named after the garlic vegetable, is well known by locals and tourists alike.
• Inn at the Opera, well-known for its warm and comfortable interiors and well-appointed bar. Willy Brown, the former mayor of San Francisco, has taken his breakfast there every morning for the last 4 years.
• Swiss Louis, a well-known haunt on Pier 39, hosts a quaint ambience, a full bar and rooms adorned with murals featuring scenes of San Francisco.
• Gilberts Seafood, a great restaurant in Monterey featuring an aquatic mural over the bar that looks just like a huge fish tank. It has the feel of a local restaurant, despite its 5000 square feet of space. A fast food section was created for take-out orders to service the walking pier crowd.

Vietnam's Casino Concept
These full-color illustrations were done for the Vietnamese government officials. They show the new proposal to develop gaming along other coast of Hanoi.

Cathedral Concept Design and Remodel
• Working with Ekona Architects in San Francsico we have developed new design concepts and remodels for many cathedrals nationally.
• St. Mary's Church, Stockton, CA. This new addition to the church will benefit everyone in Stockton by creating an environment for public gatherings.
• Black Baptist Church, Hollister, CA. Simple elegance is demonstrated in this presentation of the new church. from several careful studies this view was selected for final rendition.
