New
Amber Alert Cell Phone Program
Ongoing
Bay Area
We here at Fugitive Watch have recently
signed up for the Wireless Amber Alert service. It is a non profit organization
that has teamed up with cell phone companies to notify the public of Amber Alerts
for abducted children. You can give your cell phone company the zip code of only
the areas you want to be notified of in case of an Amber Alert. The Amber Alert
will send you a text message giving you the description of the child, the kidnapper
and the kidnapper’s vehicle
and license number. If you see the vehicle you can immediately call the police.
It is a FREE service. We at Fugitive Watch think it is a good program. You may
wish to consider signing up for the service and be another set of eyes to help
save a kidnapped child. https://www.wirelessamberalerts.org/index.jsp |
