luncheon. The annual event was created by the Los Angeles Business Journal to
honor best places and best practices among local companies. Companies register
by size in the following categories: Small-Sized (15-24 employees), Medium-Sized
(25-249 employees), and Large-Sized (250 employees or more). Registered companies
participate in a thorough reporting process where Best Companies Group, a third
party provider, identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the workplace according
to a detailed employee survey. . The report is used to identify opportunities
that exist within a company to build a better workplace. The report includes
categories such as leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications,
work environment, training and development, pay and benefits, and more. The finalized
report is provided to the participating company for further review and discussion.
The Los Angeles Business Journal will host an event in partnership with numerous
