Operations Planning and Analysis Unit
Water Supply Management Division
DUTIES:
To perform complex field work in the gathering and analysis of
hydrologic and meteorologic data; to provide hydrologic and weather
information to the public, government agencies and other organizations;
and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of
responsibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Two years of experience in gathering and analyzing
hydrologic and meteorologic data using computerized field and office
systems and Training: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
supplemented by college level course work in engineering, geology,
hydrology or a related field.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California
driver’s license may be required with determinations made on a case by
case basis. Prior to appointment, candidates will be required to
successfully complete a medical examination.
SALARY:
$5,088.94 – $6,200.37 per month—Based on a five-step salary plan
Includes District payment of 8% PERS—Public Employees’ Retirement
System
