Job Summary:
Harder+Company seeks a full-time Research Assistant to
support multiple projects run out of the San Francisco office. Research responsibilities
may include library and Internet research, survey administration logistics, planning
focus groups, conducting interviews, data entry and analysis, and writing reports.
Some travel necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor‚s Degree in social sciences or related field
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• At least one year of research experience, preferably outside of the classroom
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Detail-oriented and exceptional time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Some evenings are required for interviews and focus groups
Preferred experience:
• Experience in the nonprofit field or public sector
• Experience with Excel and/or Access a plus
ª Some travel required so CA Driver‚s license and own transportation
preferred
Salary:
$35,000 to $40,000 commensurate with experience + benefits.
